  Select your own stir-fry ingredients from a veggie/meat bar and have it cooked especially for you with your choice of sauces and add ons.. Mild to hot spice as you wish. Healthy and inexpensive meals with prompt service.

  Bali Hai is a fun experience.
  
  The premise is you pay for a meal, and then you fill your bowls with the raw ingredients for a stir fry at the bar. You then take your raw ingredients to the cook, who fries it up for you with the sauces you chose.
  
  In practice, it's a mess. When making stir-fry, the ingredients shrink, so the mountain of ingredients you brought over, only turns into a half portion of a meal. So the general strategy is to cram as much as you can into the bowls, it's fun to see the creative approach that regulars employ. However, for first timers, it's difficult to gauge how much food you need or how to approach the filling of the bowl. Honestly, I came to eat, not to build the twin towers in a pair of bowls.
  
  The stir-fry is good, and and price is fixed. So no matter how much you cram in, it's the same price. It's popular with the college crowd, so expect a lively dining experience.
  
  Also the parking is terrible. I think all together they probably have less than 10 parking spots.

  Awesome food! Love to stack my bowls high, and my grandkids love to watch them cook the food. I frequented the Raleigh location until the unfortunate fire; now I visit the Durham location when I visit my kids. I highly recommend their food!
