  This is the worst Indian grocery store I've been to. I've shopped there 2 times in 2009 (couldn't make myself go there again, I tried!). The first time the guy at the counter seems cold so I tried to make some small talk. I thought I might have imagined it or could have been one of his bad days, so I went there another time and this time he was even ruder, gave you the impression that he didn't plain like you and as if how could I have the audacity to visit his 2 bit store a second time, as if may be we all have these cozy jobs when he alone is stuck late hours in that dreadful place with no hope for future! He could care less whether you bought from there or not. He was so morose lacking any social qualities, treats you like you came in to just bother him, barely answers any questions then again barely opens his mouth! Doesn't wish you, say hi, look at you, say bye or say see you or thanks for coming or anything of the sort either in plain English or in any Indian languages I know. He seems to be relieved to see you just leave & leave him alone. It is a disservice to Indians who go there expecting to have a feeling of India by the smell, by the warmth, by the familiar nostalgic goodies, to see being served by an Indian. Man, this guy had some 'growing up' problems for sure. The people who were kind enough to write better reviews were either plain lucky or may even be friends or relatives. This is my 2 cents worth! Sorry for the harsh statements. May be he will change! If he is the owner I don't think the store will last that long and if he is not I hope the owner do see these reviews and fire him on the spot. A disgrace to India!

  This is kinda my goto place for Indian groceries. They have a decent collection of frozen parathas, the biggest reason I go there from UNC Chapel Hill. Won't recommend buying vegetables though as they aren't fresh.
