  Artisanal was a pleasant surprise while visiting Banner Elk. Superlatives: food, service, and ambience. Negatives: too far from home to enjoy routinely. Mega rich arrive by chopper but, alas, not an option for me. Creative and tasty creations from locally sourced suppliers as much as possible.

  Tasty food and excellent service. I've been there many times for lunch, always love it. The chili when they have it is great, and I also love their cobb salad - no corners cut with the food, it's tops.

  Most of their ingredients are provided by local farmers. They grind their hamburger meat. The staff was great. Awesome atmosphere. The food was really good. It is a little pricey, but worth it.
