  The Kangaroo Express at 106 NC 54, Durham, NC will not properly process the refund back to your debit card when there your gas purchase is less than the amount you pre-paid. First, their pumps will not accept debit cards because the pumps will not accept the pin number, so you have to go inside and pre-pay. If you are like me, you probably just say you want to fill up, so you have to guess at what you think the final price will be. The cashier put $25 on the pump and the total ended up being less than that, so I asked for the difference back. The cashier provided a second receipt and assured me that the difference had been added back and would appear as a credit on my card. I checked my on-line statement today, and what did I find? As you've probably guessed I found the full $25 charge, and the credit is no where to be found. So if you have another option nearby, I would suggest you go to the other gas station.
