  Had a great experience here at Local 22! The waitress was helpful, and all the plates we had were great. My only complaint is that we had a reservation but were not able to get a table until 30 minutes after our reservation. Very understandable and didn't influence the meal much though!

  Interesting experience. Waited at Bar for the rest of our party. Bartender was less than friendly. Our waitress at the table was lovely. Food was quite good but pricey. Can't remember when I have been charged $1 to open a bottle of liquor - per drink. My visit to the restroom was disappointing. Restrooms should be clean and if we are going to all share the facilities then the toilet seat should be down when ladies enter.

  We were going to be in Durham for our daughter’s wedding (November '16) and were looking for a restaurant in which to hold a family dinner the day after the wedding. A few months prior we looked at numerous restaurants in downtown Durham but were not as convenient to the hotels where most of us were staying. We came across Local 22, right next door to our hotel where we were booked, and met with Jesse and his staff. Everyone we talked to in the restaurant was pleasant and helpful in accommodating our large party and the menu had a wide variety for our varied tastes. Jesse called a few days prior to the date of the dinner to finalize plans and offer suggestions such as group appetizers for the table. The night of the dinner our table was prepared and the staff was waiting for us. The service was excellent. From drinks to dessert it was a wonderful evening. We feel we made some new friends in Durham and look forward to returning to eat there soon. Would highly recommend Local 22 for fun atmosphere, good food and great people.
