  The Mad Hatter earns 3 stars for its comfortable atmosphere and variety of the menu, as well as for the fact that they offer free refills on coffee - a rarity in this town. Unfortunately, the menu items themselves leave a lot to be desired, and the prices are WAY too high for what you get (it costs 2.50 to add an egg to a sandwich - you could buy almost a dozen eggs for that). The service is very basic counter to table and doesn't add enough value for these prices to make any sense. Their baked goods are tasty but again, way overpriced (for what they charge for a premade cake you could have a custom cake made by a much more skilled cake designer). Good place to grab a coffee and whip out the laptop, not a great place to get a meal.

  Nice atmosphere and location. The food was simple and the flavors were subdued. I had chili lime chicken soup and mozzarella tomato sandwich. My wife had the ginger lime tofu wrap. Beware the black and White cake it was a huge slice and the buttercream was more butter than frosting.
