  We wanted to see the leaves and my wife shopped at Dandelion. This was our first trip to Banner Elk, and we thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The restaurant, the food and cocktails, the chef, and the wait staff were all exceptional. We told all our friends about our wonderful experience. We look forward to our next visit in the spring. . .   I go here about three times a year and it is always excellent. The service is good and the food is some of the best in Durham. We normally order one entree each and get an extra one of something we have not had before to expand our pallets. I have only had 5 star food each and every visit.

  Nana Taco gets our vote for best fish tacos in Durham by far! I do wish they had more vegetarian options that included protein, like tofu. They are incredibly fast, even when crowded and almost always get orders correct. We have used them for catering too, and people were very happy with the taco bar!
